Online safety advice for children
At Mountnessing CE Primary School, keeping children safe online is very important. The internet is a great place to learn, play, and have fun, but it’s important to know how to stay safe.
Our eSafety rules for children:
Be kind online – treat others as you would like to be treated.
Keep personal information private – don’t share your full name, address, passwords, or school details.
Think before you click – some websites or links might not be safe.
Tell a trusted adult – if something online worries or upsets you, tell a teacher, parent, or carer straight away.
Ask before downloading or sharing – always check with an adult before downloading files or sharing pictures.
Useful tips:
Only use apps and websites that are suitable for your age.
Make sure your devices have the latest updates and antivirus protection.
Remember, not everyone online is who they say they are.
