• School expansion

  As many of you know, our school is expanding! There is a public consultation event on Wednesday 27th November in the school hall 3.30pm -7.00pm. Please do come along to view the plans and voice your opinion. 

• Foodbank

  Our worship committee went to the foodbank on Thursday with Mrs Obank and Mrs Gibson. We gave them all our donated harvest food. They were amazed at the amount of food we had collected! They gave the children juice and a biscuit and told them all about the foodbank and how it works. Thank you to the Trussell Trust and the Brentwood Foodbank for your time and generosity. What an amazing charity. 

• MacMillan Coffee Morning

  We had a very successful MacMillan Coffee Morning at the end of September. We raised £418 which is a huge amount of money for our small school. We are so grateful to all our community for your generosity for this worthy charity. Many thanks.

  Thank you to those parents and carers who came into school this morning to spend some time with their child in their classroom and attended our workshops. We hope you found it useful and that you are impressed with all the changes to the classrooms that have taken place. We are so pleased with how your children have settled back into school and how hard they are all working.

  Welcome back to the new school year! We can't wait to see all the children tomorrow in their new classrooms and hear all about their summer holidays. Please remember to bring in your summer scrapbooks to share with us all. 

   

  

• Goodbye Year 6

  Today is our last day and we say a sad farewell to year 6. We wish you lots of luck in your new adventures. Thank you for being a wonderful group of children, who have worked hard and been lots of fun. Come back and visit us soon!

  

• The Big Move!

  On Monday we changed our whole school around and moved every single room. All the classrooms have switched and the library has moved. It feels like a new school and we LOVE it! We couldn't have managed without the hard work and support from the Ford's community day. We had 30 volunteers who worked tirelessly to move all our rooms and outside play areas. THANK YOU!

   

   

  

• Leaver's Sevice

  This afternoon our year 6 pupils led the leaver's service and explained how our Christian Values have supported them throughout their time in our school. The reflected on each value, what it means to them and how it will help them in the transition to secondary school. Mr Lee presented each child with a Bible from St Giles Church. 

   

• School fete

  The school fete was today and what a good time we’ve all had. Spider-Man and Princess Anna even came to visit and joined in all the games and fun. There was great food from the BBQ and the donut wall was a hit too! So many volunteers gave up their time to help organise the fete which is much appreciated by everyone at school. Hopefully we’ve raised lots of vital funds for school.
