Week Two (30th March- 3rd April 2020)
Wow! What a week!
I can't believe that we have all completed 2 weeks of home learning. I'm so proud of you all and the quality of work you have all produced. I am really enjoying seeing all your photos and I love it when teachers send me work just because they are so impressed with what has been completed.
This week I have felt a bit sad at some points - only because I am missing all of you and I've missed all the lovely Easter events we normally do in school. Many of you know that Easter week is one of my favourite in school. I LOVE the Easter egg hunt we do, I particularly like tricking you all when we hide the Golden Bunny! I've missed the Easter Service and hearing you sing all my favourite songs too. When I've felt sad, I've looked at all your class pages on the website and looked at all your pictures and it has made me smile again.
I was in work this week and had a video call with members of the Trust. I also had a staff meeting on Wednesday with all the teachers, it was fun to talk to them all on video call with all our children there too! I have been busy answering emails, talking to staff and helping out parents where I could.
I have also been helping Phoebe with her home learning. There are days when she hasn't wanted to do as much as others, but we have tried to keep up with things that interest her and the work that her school has set. Below are some pictures from my week!
Enjoy the Easter holidays, I really recommend looking at the 'Days Out' document below. It could prove lots of fun for you and your family to try some of the activities. Remember to keep reading and try some of the Easter project activities we have set to keep you busy over the holidays.
Have a wonderful Easter, eat lots of chocolate and be kind.
Stay well and safe and I will write again after the break.
Love from, Mrs Obank
