Week Six (11th May-15th May 2020)
Wow - what a week!
It's has been a busy one trying to get plans together to reopen school for year R, 1 and 6.
I think we have a plan in place and staff are looking forward to welcoming some children back. School will be very different and there are lots of things we have to put in place to make it safe for everyone. I have held virtual staff meetings with all the staff in school and with all the Brentwood head teachers.
This week at home, I have been doing some sewing with my daughter. She wanted to make a special bag to keep special things in, so I showed her how to create one. We used an old pillowcase and added ribbon for a handle. She then made an apron for her dolly all on her own! We have also explored some new places to go for a walks. We found a great stream that was perfect for paddles, a duckling even swam past us!
As always, I have enjoyed exploring all the class pages and seeing all your photos and videos of your home activities. A HUGE well done to you all for being amazing!
Miss you all lots,
Love from Mrs Obank
