Week Seven (18th - 22nd May 2020)
It's the end of week 7 (9 if you count the Easter holidays) and after half term some of us are returning to school.
I am looking forward to seeing some of you back at school. I will make a video to share with you the changes that are going to take place in school and will talk you through what it will be like when you return. Don't worry though - the teachers will still be there to help you as normal. We are going to have lots of fun and you can even wear your own clothes everyday!
This week has been exciting at home. We discovered a baby bird in our garden that couldn't fly yet. We watched it for a while and it even hopped onto my leg. It was a Blue Tit. I even managed to pick it up and it climbed into my hair! Phoebe thought it was funny when it pooed on my hand! We left it be to see if it's mummy would come and feed it. When we next checked it had been joined by 4 more baby birds and their mummy and daddy were coming into the garden to feed them all the time. It was very exciting and fascinating to watch. At night, they snuggled behind the flower pot and in the morning they had gone. I think they learnt to use their wings and flew away. I've put some pictures and videos below.
Phoebe and I have been experimenting with taking magic photos - I wonder if you can work out how we did it and take some of your own?
Enjoy half term next week. On your class pages are some fun activities for you to try if you want to.
Love from Mrs Obank
