RHS school Garden Awards

Our school garden is maintained by a group of children in partnership with the landscape gardeners who run an after school club. They are working through the levels on the RHS School Garden Awards. We enjoy cooking and eating the food we grow.

MPS Top SIte

We are lucky tohave 2 sites (KS2 and KS1/EYFS) which are linked by our leafy lane. This is the top site playground also included are 2 class romms, main hall and kitchens. Here the whole school standing together.

MPS Lower Site

This is the lower site of our school with KS2 on the playground. We have 2 main classrooms here with a hub on the playground for year 6. The school office and the head teachers office are here too.

EYFS Outdoor Area

Our EYFS children are lucky to have a large outdoors area, partly covered by a shelter. We encourage free flow to outside and the children are given the confidence to access any of the resources they would like to use.

Creative Play

The Pirate ship is used by our Reception children in their specific outdoor area. It encourages their imaginations to run free. The large surrounding outdoor area is equipped with other resources and equipment to ensure creativity in free and structural play.

Healthy and Active Play

We have a large school field with playground equipment freely used by the children to encourage healthy and active play.

KS2 at Play

This is the KS2 play equipment used by the older children at play and lunch times. This stimulates creative play with the older children as well as reinforcing our Christian Values of friendship and perseverance.

Daily Mile Challenge

All children in school are encouraged to be healthy. They are taught about the importance of exercise through PE lessons and take part in a Daily Mile challenge. We promote healthy eating and cook delicious nourishing meals on site.
